The Landscape

The Montefeltro is a fascinating area of Italy, rich in history, while the landscape is almost entirely a huge lconservation area. It has escaped large hurbanisation so nature has remained wild. Montefeltro is a treasure that waits to be explored. From Calbertone, you will be able to watch deers, elks, wild boars, buzzards and eagles. You will be able to pick wild cherries, wild strawberries, mulberries and blackberries, wild mushrooms as well as come with me and hunt truffles with my black labrador Chaco.

In the nearby towns of Sant'Angelo and Mercatello you will be able to eat extraordinary meals for little money.

Calbertone lays on the ancient trail of the Knights, which still links Montefeltro with Umbria and Tuscany passing through wild and breath-taking landscapes.
